Covid 19: Eight West Ham Players Have Coronavirus Symptoms

Premier League club west Ham have players in self-Quarantine after eight of them showing mild symptoms of the coronavirus, according to the club's vice-chairwoman Karren Brady. The West-ham are the latest Premier League club to be affected by the pandemic. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi - both currently recovered - and several unnamed Leicester players found to be affected by corona virus.

"I am relieved to say they are all showing mild symptoms and, along with their families, seem to be well," The manager siad.

West Ham's players in usual training at home and the club expectiong to resume regular sessions at its camp when Britain's lockdown period ends on April 13.

Premier League season is postponed until at least April 30,Unofficial reports suggest there is further delay from the exact date that's already announced.

"And that games will run into July, if required, to get this campaign finished. This is the plan. This is what we want to deliver.

"It may be games have to be played behind closed doors, which no one wants - especially the players and fans.

"But we hope it might just be possible to go ahead once the sharp graph of it bottoms out."
