Ballon d'Or 2018:Ronaldo and Courtois were nominated but De gea Skipped out

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea seems to have skipped over on a place on the 30-man range for the 2018 Ballon d'Or.

The spain international, who was named in FIFA FIFPro World eleven last month, has not been enclosed within the latest group of 5 nominees for France Football's individual prize.

The latest candidates, WHO are being disclosed in alphabetical order, embody Thibaut Courtois, 2017 winner Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin de Bruyne, Roberto Firmino and Diego Godin.

Courtois is had present once a season in which he won the fa Cup with Chelsea and came third at the world Cup with belgium - winning the Golden Glove - before he moved to Real madrid.

Ronaldo, currently at Juventus, won the Champions League for the third season in a row with madrid, whereas de Bruyne impressed Manchester City's Premier League and EFL Cup double before a powerful world cup showing.

Firmino is nominated despite liverpool failing to win a trophy last term and Brazil reaching solely the world Cup quarter-finals, whereas Godin gets the nod following Atletico Madrid's victories within the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup.

The first 5 nominees disclosed were Sergio Aguero, Alisson, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani.
