Champions League draw: Juventus to face United, Barcelona to face Tottenham

Group H(Juventus, Manchester United)

Cristiano Ronaldo will foresee to a come to the previous Trafford in the Champions League this season when his new team Juventus came out in the same group as Manchester United in Thursday’s draw in Monaco.

Ronaldo, who wasn't in Monaco despite being nominated for an individual award, spent six years at United, winning the Champions League in 2008, before moving to Real Madrid in 2009.

He can come back up against his compatriot Jose Mourinho, underneath whom he played throughout his time at Real, whereas United midfielder Paul Pogba can also look forward to facing his old team.

Group B(Barcelona, Inter, Tottenham)

Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur can play one another in a testing group b beside inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven, the 1988 European Cup winners.

Inter are returning to the competition for the primary time in seven seasons. They were within the same group as Tottenham in 2010/11, with the Italians unforgettably winning 4-3 at San Siro despite Gareth Bale scoring a hat-trick.

“You want to check yourselves against the most effective players in the world, however, we don’t wish to merely test ourselves, we wish to compete against them. That’s undoubtedly the case with Barcelona,” Tottenham’s Eric Dier told his club’s website.

The draw looks kind to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester city as they appear to win the trophy for the first time.

Goup C(Liverpool, PSG)

A meeting between Liverpool and PSG suggests that a confrontation between two German coaches, Jurgen Klopp and his successor at Borussia Dortmund, Thomas Tuchel.

“I expected a tough group, we've a troublesome group and that’s what the Champions League is all regarding,” Klopp told UEFA.

Carlo Ancelotti, who became coach of Napoli in the close season, can come back to the French capital, wherever he led PSG to the title in 2013. That group is completed by a notable old name in 1991 European Cup winners Red Star Belgrade.

Holders Madrid begins their bid to win a fourth consecutive Champions League crown in a kind-looking group G, that includes Roma, CSKA Moscow and Czech side Viktoria plzen.

“We need to defend our title for an additional year,” Emilio Butragueno, Real’s Director of Institutional Relations, told.

Real Madrid has Comparatively Low Competition because they have only got tough A.s Roma, But it generally looks like an easy win for Real Madrid.
